Chocolate Banana Brownies

This brownie is packed with nutrition and flavor.

Serves: 16

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 4 T. cocoa powder
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 t. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  1. Preat oven to 350° F
  2. Spray an 8 in. round or square cake pan with non-stick cooking spray
  3. Place the cocoa, 1/4 cup water and bananas into a large blender cup or into the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add the sugar, egg whites, vanilla extract and salt and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the flour and 1/2 cup water, a little at a time, and blend until it is smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture into prepared pan. Bake 20 - 25 minutes. Wait until the brownies have cooled to cut into squares. Store in refrigerator
